Spring / Summer Events: Flying Pig Marathon: LBC has been giving orange slices to runners since 1999 - lots of orange slices - usually around 5,000 per year. Everyone is always welcome to come help in the craziness. Volunteers cut or pass out orange slices as well as hold signs and cheer for all the runners. Mother Daughter Banquet: Held in early May, think of it as girl's night out for girls of ALL ages. The gentlemen of LBC prepare a delicious meal. Fun and entertainment for all! Summer Camp: Camping opportunities at Camp Kirkwood & Conference Center in Wilmington, OH Weekly camping for grades 3-12 and beginners camps for grades K-2 Scholarships are available through LBC based on family need RV camping is also available Vacation Bible School: Sponsored by both Linwood and Columbia Baptist Churches. All kids are invited. There are no fees but an offering for a specific mission is taken daily (one year the children helped buy a cow for a third world country) and much more!
